BLIZZICANE!

It was actually the perfect storm- not as dramatic as all the weather people on TV wanted it to be.  It lasted about 24 house- it started on Friday, just in time for people to get to leave work early, or not go to work at all and make it a 3 day weekend.  It was light, fluffy snow, easy to shovel, blowing all around and making exciting drifts that made it look like we had gotten 5 feet of it. (Made for lots of (sort of) exciting fb pictures of peoples' buried cars...) It didn't kill anyone. It was a good excuse to keep a fire burning all day and into the night and sit around and watch junk on tv and eat and drink all kinds of bad things.  It ended this morning, when the sun came out- when I stepped outside the world was clean and white and quiet and very beautiful.
