Zombie Obsession

Somehow, Nina recently learned about zombies. Here's a typical conversation we've been having in the last couple of days:

Nina: Are zombies real?

Me: No. You shouldn't watch zombie shows. You're only 4.

Nina: I can handle it. Trust me. What if they were real?

Me: But they're not.

Nina: If you saw one, what would you do?

Me: I don't need to think about that because they're not real.

Nina: Do zombies bite peoples heads off?

Me: No.

Nina: Can I watch zombie shows when I'm 5?

Me: Probably not.

Nina: Want to see me walk like a zombie?

*does amazingly accurate zombie walk*

Me: Please stop that.

Nina: But just pretend they are real and they came to the door. Then what would you do?

Me: I don't want to talk about zombies. They're just a silly thing that someone made up because they thought it would be fun to scare people.

Nina: Do zombies live in the woods?

Me: Let's talk about something nice, like My Little Ponies.

Nina: Are they real?

Me: Ummmmm.....no.
