Firecrackers going off in my hand
Worrying that my hand was going to feel numb for the rest of my life
Stepping on pointy sparkler ends in the dark in the sand
Not wanting to go home
Lying in bed, unable to sleep, listening to fireworks, music, the ocean....
Looking for fireworks cartridges on the beach on July 5th, like a treasure hunt
