That whooshing noise that I've been hearing from deep inside my right ear just disappeared last night. I climbed into bed, closed my eyes, and prepared myself for the never-ending beat of my telltale heart. And I heard nothing. At first I didn't believe it- I moved around, thinking maybe it was the angle at which my head was resting on the pillow. But it was really and truly gone. And I was so happy.
I'm cautiously optimistic. I was afraid the next doctor was going to tell me I needed neck surgery. Maybe I'm jinxing myself with this post, but I think I'm in the clear. I feel like a regular person again.
