It's something to celebrate, seeing the same group of women once a month for 20 years. That's a lot of books read, a lot of bottles of wine drunk. And a lot of experiences shared- births of children, and more recently grandchildren, deaths, tragic life-changing accidents, separations, divorces, weddings, illnesses, new relationships, just to name a few. We are almost like sisters at this point- we'll keep going as long as we can. It wouldn't make sense for any of us to leave and it wouldn't be the same with one of us missing.
