I was deleting pictures from my phone and came across this one. I'm not sure when or how I took it, but I decided to save it because there are so many things I love in it: my big brass bed, my beautiful robe that I got shopping at my favorite store last summer in Cape May with my sister, my necklace that I wear every day, with the Venetian glass stars and moon pendant that I got with another sister in Venice a couple of years ago, and the little silver whale that my son gave me a few Mother's Days ago, because whales are the best mothers in the animal kingdom. And, I kind of like my clavical in this picture, too.
