A Hard Day

I spent the afternoon with a close friend whose 22 year old daughter died in her sleep last night.  There's no more raw, emotional pain than the grief of of a mother who has lost a child.

I came home and called a list of her friends to tell them the sad news.   And then I contacted my three children to tell them how much I love them.
