Today we slept in till 8:00! No school, all week!!
We made pancakes, Nina's favorite.
We went food shopping- Nina got to go on two horsie rides- one on the way in, and one on the way out (for good behavior.)
We discussed race relations. She said she doesn't like brown, only pink, because pink is her favorite color. I told her that God made people all different colors and he loves everyone he makes, so we love everyone too.
We went shoe shopping. Nina got 3 new pairs of sparkly, bejeweled sandals, and one pair of flowery sneakers. They are all so beautiful (in her opinion.)
We had a picnic- peanut butter and jelly and pink lemonade- on the grass in the backyard.
We caught 2 baby fish in the fish pond. Their names are Nice and Nice.
We watched the Red Sox, read some stories, and took a little nap.
We played baseball- I was Kevin Youkilis and Nina was Dustin Pedroia. (She prefers Pedey.) We didn't keep score.
We tried catching butterflies, but they were too elusive.
Nina's mom came to get her. Nina gave Mimi real kisses and doggie kisses and lots of hugs and told her she loved her.
Mimi missed her when she was gone.
