A Very Sad Day

I will miss you, Dot.  You were a great mother-in-law and a great friend.  You welcomed me and my children into your family like we had always been a part of it- we felt your love from the first day we met you.  That's what I will remember about you- how full of love your were.

Yesterday I posted A Sort of Homecoming because I had homecomings on my mind..... My brothers and sisters and I all coming home to be with my father for his birthday, you coming home from Canada next weekend to be with your family again.  You did go home, but just sooner than we expected, and to a different sort of home.
