I have often thought, and many people have said to me over the years, God can never know exactly what I am going through. And many Christians around the world during this Holy Week will be remembering -- even reenacting -- the Passion of the Christ, which was specific to one man. It all was brutal, yes, but isolated to one man. The Passion and crucifixion of one man -- who I agree was the Son of God -- was never intended to mute our own crying out to God on our own particular cross. I believe that because many are going through their own week or month or years of Passion, that God can say to us, "Now I do, my precious and lovely child, now I do. And I am here with you. And your time of release and resurrection is at hand."
