Last night I peeked in to see if Nina was sleeping. She wasn't. Here was the conversation:
Nina: Lay with me, Mimi.
Me:Ok- for just 2 minutes.
I lay down on the bed with her and she wraps her arms around my neck.
Nina: Don't leave.
Me: Why?
Nina: Because I don't want to be alone.
Me: But big girls have to learn to sleep by themselves. When Pop-Pop goes away I have to sleep alone.
Nina: No you don't. Don't worry, I will sleep with you. Then you never have to be alone.
