Today at school-
Little girl: I don't want to go for a walk in the woods. I'm scared of the woods!
Me: What is in the woods that scares you?
Little girl: Last time I was in the woods at my house I heard a volcano.
Boy: Hey, Mrs. Mimi- I really like that skirt! (some of them actually do call me Mrs. Mimi, because they know Nina calls me Mimi.)
Me: Hey, thanks a lot!
Boy: I was just kidding!
Boy at lunchtime points out the large air bubble on his pizza crust- bites away half of it....
Look- now my pizza looks like that place in Boston where they play music!
I'm working late in my classroom... boy pops head in doorway-
Where's Mrs. R?
She went home. I'm all alone.
